I'm not taking sides...just NEUTRAL

(forever 21 white lce top, club monaco cardigan, zara cropped pants and shooties)

When I bought this white lace top from Forever 21 about 4 years ago, I hadn't realized how much I would wear it - I love it that much that often times it is the first top I think of to wear, and everything else would revolve around it.

Another love of my life has to be these "shooties" from Zara!  These are probably one of the best impulse buys I made - and I make a lot of those ;)  I remember the first time I wore these, I thought to my self "ok these are now my favourite pair".  These are so comfortable and I just love how it goes with everything - and I mean EVERYTHING!  You will find these in a lot of my posts to prove it!

Anyway, I thought about this outfit around 1:30 in the morning, lol, then I find out that I made the right choices as I browsed through the ELLE Collections S/S 2010 magazine and found that designers such as Celine and Alexander Wang already envisioned neutral palettes for Spring!  You know what they say - great minds think alike ;)

If you notice from my outfit posts, I don't really have a particular distinguished style or pattern or consistency.  I like it like that! :D  Usually, whatever random ensemble comes into mind is what comes into fruition.  Unpredictability is a beautiful thing - sometimes I might go for a minimalist look, carelessly shaggy, texturized, clean slate, daring, bold, blindingly colourful or dark as gothic, but whatever it may be, the important thing is not belonging into just one or two particular style, instead it is the honesty in projecting what is beautiful in your eyes.  You won't always get it right, but the fact that your confidence exceeded your doubt is far more apparently beautiful than any outfit you can come up with!

too Bright to feel Blue

6:25 a.m., I woke up with an idea as to what to wear to work.  I thought this royal blue top would go nicely with a navy blue blazer and a silver pleated skirt.  Then I looked in the mirror and, you know when you look at your whole outfit and think that although it could work , there is just something "off" about it?  Well that's what I thought, so I replaced the pleated skirt with this fitted pencil one and it was my first good choice of the day!

7:45 a.m., satisfied and off to work.

a sprinkle of shabby, and a pinch of chic

If you love fashion like I do, then you pretty much have an eye for everything visually beautiful!  I love the sight and vibe I get from an intellectually and creatively designed room and I thought I would share some interiors that really caught my interest and could possibly derive multiple inspirations from - not just for any square-footage space in my own place, but for any collaboration and ensemble that I can ultimately come up with.

Spring Fling

(vintage lace top, zara high-waisted slacks and heels, h&m faux fur coat and f21 jewellery)

I am really looking forward to Spring on March 20th, so I thought I'd show my enthusiasm by wearing this soft pink vintage lace top that I rarely wear of which I'm not quite sure why, and I paired it with these sorta densely serious high-waisted slacks from Zara.  I bought these trousers for $10 from $95!  Talk about a crime eh! hehe ;)

Texture was what came to mind when I created this outfit with the lace top and faux fur coat from H&M for $20!  Now I should really go to jail!  What can I say, I am a trained bargain hunter :p

Spring, come already so I can twirl in my skirt and hopscotch in my strappy heels!

On March 31, 2010, my girl Corina and I will be attending the Pink Tartan S/S 2010 Fashion Show at the LG Fashion Week here in Toronto!  This will be a Fashion Week debut for us as although we are both fashion lovers, we have never been to a fashion show on Fashion Week.

To my excitement, I decided to do a quick post on what we could expect at the show.  Although I have not really followed the Pink Tartan collection, I kinda want to give my hand a good slap for failing to acknowledge the brilliance of its simplistic design that makes every woman look effortlessly chic!  Besides, Pink Tartan is only the partner (literally) of my love line, Club Monaco, so duh, no wonder I like it so much!

SoOOOoOoO...I'm back from hybernation!  Sincere apologies for not updating my blog for the longest time.  I am not fond of Winter, snow or anything that is associated with the word "cold".  With that said, I haven't been taking pictures of my Winter outfits as there is not much to show off - I am uninspired and just want to keep warm ;P

Speaking of keeping warm, my bedroom has served me very well!  So I thought I would let you inside my igloo and at least share where I have spent all of my Winter time.  Here are just a few of the things in my room that I like and closely depict my interest:

1.  On-line, in the comfort of my supercomfy bed, at bloglovin.com following my favourite        blogs.
2.  My bed with my nameless doggie companion.
3.  My bedside table with my fake green orchids, heart-shaped jewellery box, New York City glass paperweight, Juicy Couture shoe pendant box, Blackberry, extra-large coffee, and a list of movies that I am currently downloading.
4.  Stack of old magazines that I use as a mirror stand.
5.  Books/magazines I have read or currently reading/studying, namely, Face Forward, Kaplan LSAT practice book, Ikea 2010 catalogue, Korean Vogue magazine, 'One Fifth Avenue' by Candace Bushnell, 'that extra half-an-inch' by Victoria Beckham; 'Michelle', a biography of Michelle Obama, and 'Room for Love' by Andrea Meyer.
6.  My havaianas flip-flops that I wear around the house and my sheep airplane shoes.
7.  Sex and the City chocolate box that my bf gave my on Valentine's Day - oh how he knows me!

Spring is near and I'm glad I'm still here! :D
