So my big 25th b-day is coming up and unlike last year, this one is going to be intimate and controlled, lol!  I have noticed that my style has evolved within the last year and even though I still have not determined my true style, if there is even such a thing, I'm sure that I will find out very soon with help from everyone's inspirational and beautiful blogs and from your feed  backs, so thank you for definitely leading me closer to the best look I can carry :D

On a Rainy Day

It's a bummer that now that it is officially Spring, the weather seems like it still wants to hold out on us just for a little bit longer.  Well I am prepared for the rainy days with this fab vintage coat I found at Value Village.  I love how it reminds me of a Chloe cape, especially the blush lining of the coat and the bow really boosts femininity and softness.  I got real lucky on this one so I can still be chic even on a rainy day :)

Hi guys, I hope you had a lovely day!  In this outfit, I thought about projecting a different type of colour combination - the mustard yellow that pops, mixed with the neutral beige and brown and black.  I also love these leopard pumps!  I purchased these 2 years ago and I have never taken advantage of these pair, but I thought these were a great pair to wear with today's outfit :) 

Sweet in the City

Today was the last day of my rubbish food intake that lasted for about a month!  We had a bon voyage luncheon for our co-worker today as she is moving to NYC (soo jealous), and guess what was on the menu - pizza, soda and strawberry chocolate-mouse cake for dessert... can you please say YUMMY!  It was very yummy, but I knew afterward that I would have to pay for it so after contemplating on whether I felt like going to the gym to work off the junk (I do this a lot with myself, lol), I finally went to the gym!  Hooray to me!!!
I am also starting my detox tonight so let's see how long I can maintain this torture, LOL!

So continuing with my Spring-themed outfits, I thought the combination of these colours worked really well.  By the way, I got this beautiful green skirt from where else, Value Village for $6!  The colour really pops when paired with very soft and sweet colours such as my peach tank and off-white cardigan.

I found these boyfriend trousers at H&M yesterday for $7 reduced from $70.  I am not really a trouser girl, but I am really digging these masculine trousers that have been coming out.  I especially love the ones that Chloe has brilliantly showcased even last year.  Anyway, I hope you guys had a great Monday! :D

p.s. I have been eating too much chocolate lately and it's Hershey's Cookies 'n' Cream's fault! It's just sooo good!!!

Yaay for Casual Friday!

I love Fridays :D but who doesn't, right?!  This is what I wore to work today since it's casual Fridays and I can get away with almost anything I wear at work.  Sometimes, I do feel like I am dressed inappropriately by wearing more uncorporate-like attires for work - you know, a little Dries Van Noten, a little Rodarte influences, but it's not like I dress horribly.  I just love to look nice everyday you know, like I actually put some effort and creativity as to how I would present myslelf to others and how others would see me.  I really do enjoy thinking about what top to wear with what skirt, or what bag to wear with which heels...it's so much fun and if this is one way for me to have fun everyday, then I will keep on doing it :)

I hope you guys have a great weekend!  Remember, try and do things everyday that would make you happy, no matter how small or trivial, whatever it is you do that would give you those little happy butterflies in your tummy - DO IT!  These little cheerful acts can totally uplift your mood which, in turn, can then uplift others!
